exto extension cord

I know it is hard to imagine getting excited about an extension cord, but these are a design feature unto themselves. They are a little pricey but are just the ticket for a little DIY flare.

A British lighting manufacturer with a gorgeous selection of fixtures.

isamu noguchi - akari lamps

These little gems date from the early 1950’s and were designed by Isamu Noguchi, one of the great modern sculptors. Each one is a finely crafted work of art handmade by the original manufacturer in Gifu, Japan.

tom dixon - furniture

I saw this in one of my favorite design stores in Sonoma, CA and immediatly fell in love. The base is cast iron and the top screw adjusts on a finely crafted ACME screw. The counter surface is available in marble, oak and birch.
